The postback contains specific information about the action, such as the transaction ID, commission amount, or status of the conversion.

Global Postback

Global postback is configured for all offers at once, local postback is configured for a specific offer. Local postback has priority over global postback. If you set up a local postback in a certain traffic source, it will be triggered by it and not by the global postback.

The advantage of using a global postback is that you can specify it once and it will work for all your traffic sources.

While configuring postback is not mandatory, it is activated when using an external tracker or traffic source tracker for analytics. The postback link is generated automatically, and you will need to reach out to the support team and follow the provided tips or instructions to complete the necessary actions.

By establishing a postback, the CPA network sends specified data from the advertiser to the analytics service where you can analyze it in more detail. For instance, setting up a postback can involve using a script that sends an SMS message to the partner if no sales have been generated within a specific timeframe, indicating potential issues with the advertising campaign settings or errors on the advertiser’s side.
